Not the best looking bike ever to have rolled out of Japan but once considered a superbike believe it or not. I think Jamie Whitham road one around the Isle of man one year.
As long as you can pick one up cheap (as in £1000 max for a minter) these and the 600 GSXF are both good bikes. The later models had worst build quality, engine is the same as a 600 bandit but more cubes and higher state of tune.
If you can find something worth buying with no problems I would say they deserve their place at number 15 in the best value bikes. Get it and run it into the ground as re-sale is more trouble than it is worth, they are highly un-desireable. A much better and faster buy than the Triumph TT600, might make a good street fighter if you get sick of looking at it’s ugly fairing.
