Benelli Tornado Tre 900

Whoever thought this should be in the best value bikes should be shot!! These were poop when new, about as successful as the Foggy Petronas triples in world superbikes. These make early Ducati 748′s and 916′s look like a picture of reliability. Unless you just want to add it to a collection or look at it in your living room don’t bother.

To be fair to them when they are running they are pretty capable bikes and compare well to a Ducati in terms of general handling, the slipper clutch on the one I rode activated every time I shut the throttle which was annoying. Tail piece has novelty value, but really it is a shite design, expect coolant leaks, electrical problems and lots of trouble. This is when they are new, if it still runs then it’s a good one.
