Hi, welcome to Book of Bikes .com, sorry there isn’t much to see yet as I have only just bought the domain.  I have been working on the sub domain splashmotorcycles.bookofbikes.com as a site to advertise our motorcycle shop.

Anyway the 2012 Superbike season had a great start at Philip Island. In race 2 after winning race 1 Max Biaggi ran off the track on the first corner after Tom Sykes cut across him to retain the early lead. He came back from dead last working his way through the field to 2nd. Checa took the win after an early highside in race 1, with Sykes just getting past Johnny Ray out of the last turn as his rear tire span up.

Kenan Sofuoğlu took the first win of the season in the supersport class after returning from Moto 2. Although the race distance was shortened to 15 laps there was action all the way through the field right to the last lap.

Ian Hutchinson came 3rd in the Macau GP after a year away from racing. Michael Rutter took the win his first there for 6 years beating his record to record his 7th victory there.

Good start to the season and we are still in February!!
